Chronicle captures all the information required to assist agencies with managing driver training, collisions and (where required) pursuits across the entire organisation. Data entry processes makes it easy and quick for users to input large quantities of data without double-keying, whilst mobile data devices enable users to add data at the scene without the need to return to stations.
The addition of the pursuit and collision elements enable agencies to link that data to each user record so training is tailored to meet collision trends or individual development needs.
Instant overview of currently authorised drivers at all levels linked to individual role profiles enables agencies to make informed decisions about future capability and capacity requirements linked to organisational objectives. For our police customers Chronicle also provides an interface with the National Police Coordinating Centre (NPoCC) automatically transmitting via the PNN network Capability and Capacity Data to inform the national critical incident response capability.
For those agencies requiring it, the pursuit element of the Driver Management System enables you to collate National Pursuit Data from mobile terminals and link it to individual user Driver Records. This unique feature enables training departments to identify organisational or individual driver trends that assists them in tailoring training to meet operational requirements and reduce risk.
This provides the ability to display statistical data of all (or selected) collisions linked to individual users, enabling you to establish trends and implement appropriate training interventions. We work with a leading in-car telematics company to provide statistical data on individual driver behavioural trends thereby reducing risk by early intervention through appropriate advice or tailored development plans.
The Driver Management module provides a comprehensive training records management system enabling training departments to record all courses, refreshers, and individual development plans linked to national competency frameworks for all driver levels. The system generates notifications to inform training departments, supervisors and individuals when a skill is or licence is about to expire or when eyesight or medical test is due for renewal, helping to ensure that all staff are able to evidence compliance with the forthcoming Sect 19 of the Road Safety Act 2006 requirements and remain available to meet operational need.
Our Training Planning feature enables Training Managers to define future course and refresher training events and open them up to Resource Management Units to allocate students. Other features include, easy to view calendar, instructor allocation, double booking notification, venue booking, automatic student notification and joining instructions. Overall our training planning system reduces absenteeism improves efficiency and provides meaningful performance management data.
The training management system records all the training that each instructor has delivered, personal training they receive and peer assessment records in one place, ensuring that they can evidence their own Continual Professional Development (CPD). This unique feature enables training managers to evidence the competence of their training team to deliver the standards of training required by your organisation and assists the Professional Development Review (PDR) process.
