Chronicle Dogs is a unique Dog Training and Operations Management System designed by police officers for police officers to encompass all aspects of Dog work across a force, collaborative framework or region.
Chronicle captures all the information required to assist forces with the managing, training and planning of all dog work across the force. Data entry wizards make it easy and quick to input large quantities of data. Data can also be inputted using mobile data devices thus reducing the need for officers to return to police stations when on patrol.
Now linked to the National Police Coordination Centre (NPoCC) Chronicle automatically feeds up-to-date capability and capacity data to inform the National Resilience picture, saving time and improving efficiency.
The licensing overview enables you to instantly see your capacity and capability in relation to all dog specialisms in your Force. How many dog and handler teams are licenced, in what specialisms, length of time left on licence etc. View how much Training and Licencing has been delivered over any given period of time including numbers of students and instructors. This enables you to produce accurate cost plans and assess future training needs.
Our Training Planning feature enables Training Managers to define future course and refresher training events and open them up to Resource Management Units to allocate students. Other features include, easy to view calendar, instructor allocation, double booking notification, venue booking, automatic student notification and joining instructions. Overall our training planning system reduces absenteeism improves efficiency and provides meaningful performance management data.
This provides the ability to record and display statistical data on all or selected dog bites that have occurred enabling you to see the number of dog bites, by which dog, and types of incidents etc. Compare statistical data from previous months or even years to identify trends, quickly respond to freedom of information (FOI) enquiries - linked incident and medical reports makes data recovery quick and easy.
Our simple to use Kennel Management system enables handlers to book kennel space enabling kennel staff to effectively manage allocation, animal welfare and special requirements. Each dog has an easy-to-view history starting with breeder, date they joined the force, training received, allocated handlers, medical history, homing upon retirement and lots more. All easily recoverable to respond to any freedom of information requests.
View all tasking reports for every dog and handler. This data is then retrievable to provide you with statistical data on how many hours each team has spent on tasking, any arrests, stop checks etc. Once collated, reports are then available in relation to how many staff hours the dog section contributed to a particular task including numbers of arrests, stop checks and intelligence reports submitted.
The training management system records all the training each instructor has delivered, personal training they receive and peer assessment records in one place, ensuring that they can evidence their own Continual Professional Development (CPD). This unique feature enables training managers to evidence the competence of their training team to deliver the standards of training required by your organisation and assists the Professional Development Review (PDR) process.
