Chronicle Asset Management utilises our experience in providing secure systems to monitor over one hundred police armouries housing thousands of weapons dealing effectively with over 90,000 transactions each day in virtually any environment. Chronicle Asset Management is designed to provide an efficient & effective process for the day-to-day management of all your assets no matter what or where they are: linked to our secure door access control you can be assured that your inventories are protected even in remote locations. Our software is capable of dealing with numerous transactions at multiple locations utilising the latest RFID technology: meaning you can centrally monitor the issue and return process (where supervision is an issue) 24/7.
Additionally, the Asset Management System provides store supervisors and equipment maintainers with service and maintenance tracking history and consumable stock control information, providing automatic Email and SMS text alerts (if configured) when service or maintenance is due or when an item of equipment becomes overdue for return.
Chronicle Asset Management enables organisations to monitor their entire equipment and consumables inventory centrally, including the entire service schedule, movement history and maintenance records. Remotely remove an individual's access instantly and receive Email or SMS Text alerts when equipment becomes overdue for return or when a scheduled service is required.
Chronicle Asset Management provides a simple menu driven process for the issue and return of all equipment in both an operational and training environment. Users log on to the touch screen, scan items to be issued and electronically sign using personal issue ID Card and unique Personal Identification Number (PIN). Central Records are instantly updated with a date, time, and details of the person receiving and witnessing the transaction providing a robust audit trail.
Chronicles Unique Secure Door Access system fitted to a store or cabinet door enables user access permissions to be set according to an individuals authority level and location. The dual access feature requires a witness to be present in order to prevent individuals entering a secure area or using a cabinet unsupervised, whilst single access is still configurable where operational requirements exist. With the ability to remove access authorities remotely, key override in the event of power failure, insecure door and tamper alerts the Chronicle Door access provides a robust solution to protect high value, high risk assets.

Made in partnership with SMP Security (the UKs leading manufacturer of safes and other security products) our Asset Cabinet is an easy to install networked secure monitored storage facility. Our cabinet provides the ability to restrict access to any asset particularly in remote locations where supervision is problematic. Linked to our Asset management or armoury systems to remotely monitor the issue and return process providing reassurance 24/7.
The testing we conduct confirms that RFID tags which are small enough to be secreted on most items provide the read range required to be detected on a consistent basis. We are not confined to RFID as a means of identification using Barcodes or QR Code dependent on customer requirement, the item to be monitored or the issue and return process used.
The Asset Management system was developed in order to enable organisations to monitor the storage and movements of assets - particularly those of high value or where the risk of loss represents a significant organisational reputational risk. Our Asset Management System (which drive the Asset Cabinets) is compatible with all Chronicle Modules to manage and audit equipment issue, return, maintenance records, consumable stock levels and access control. Authority to access or possess an item is based on an employee's designated authority which can be applied or removed centrally. Using our experience in providing secure systems to monitor police armouries housing thousands of weapons dealing effectively with over 90,000 transactions each day our system is proven to work in virtually any environment.
